MASTERING

Please send your pre masters in the same resolution as your mixdown session, in WAV or AIFF format. Leave headroom and avoid clipping for best results. Upload using the Send Files page, or email a link to your files. Once received, we will confirm receipt and provide an estimated delivery date.

WAV or AIFF is preferred. Export at your original project sample rate and at least 24 bit where possible.

A: Do not chase loudness. Avoid clipping and leave sensible headroom.

A good ballpark peaks around -6 to -12db, a clean unclipped mix gives the best result.

From a sonic perspective, not really, unless it’s an intentional part of your product.

In some cases, yes. A priority fee may be added for same day delivery. Contact us first with full details so we can confirm availability before you place the order.

You can book services as a one off purchase, or via a subscription. Subscriptions suit long term projects such as labels, full time artists, and producers. In return for a subscription you receive an enhanced lower fee. For current prices, see the Pricing page.

A: Yes. Contact us and we will cancel your subscription. When you cancel, any remaining allowance may be forfeited and services treated as complete, see the Terms page for full details.

Subscription credits renew each period and do not roll over.

MIXDOWN AND MASTERING

A: If mixing more than one song, indicate the order you want the songs mixed in. Include a rough mix, MP3 or WAV, so we can reference your intent during the initial review.

1) File format: Send each stem in the highest resolution possible from the source recording project in WAV or AIFF format. Avoid unintentional clipped or distorted stems. Ensure stems are sent as separate files, do not combine instruments into one stem just to reduce stem count.

2) Managing a session: Only one folder should be sent for each song. Label the folder “Song Title, BPM”. No other session files should be included. Parts should be clearly notated and labelled. Do not include parts that are not to be used.

3) Export stems: Print effects that are part of the sound into the stem. Remove automation from your session and make sure the audio you export matches what you want us to work with.

4) Track labelling: Label instruments clearly so there is no guessing. Song notes are helpful for special requirements and the overall objective.

A: Export all stems from the same start point so they line up perfectly when imported, even if the part starts later in the song.

A: BPM is helpful, especially for timing-based notes. Key is optional.

A: Turnaround depends on the project and requirements. Once we receive your files, we will confirm a timeline.

A: We aim to get it right first time, but adjustments can be necessary. We include two revision rounds for mix and mastering, with as many notes as you like in each round. Additional revision rounds may be billable, see the Terms page.

A: Reference the exact stem or file name, include timestamps in mm:ss, and describe the change clearly. Example, “Lead Vox at 01:12 reduce by 2 dB”.

A: Revisions should be requested within two weeks of delivery unless we agree an extension in advance.

file delivery

A: Use the Send Files page on the website, or email a link to your files. If you are sending multiple songs, include the song order and any notes.

A: We provide delivery links for your finished files. You are responsible for downloading and backing up your files promptly after delivery.

A: We do not guarantee indefinite storage. We may retain and or archive copies for operational purposes. If you request re delivery after 6 months and the project is still available, an archive retrieval fee may apply, see the Terms page.
